General Information Pixeom respects the privacy of our customers, business partners and other visitors to our websites. We recognize the need for appropriate management and protection of the personal/business information that you provide to us. This Privacy Statement applies to data collected by Pixeom, Inc. through the Pixeom.com website and other web pages or links to our website.
What personal information does Pixeom collect? On the Pixeom website you can register as an end user or partner, purchase software products or services, manage your products and services, subscribe to marketing or support materials, login to site to obtain access to product information, support, services and training, submit forms to apply for jobs, request information via careers, contact us, investor or other forms, and interact via blogs, forums, etc…. Pixeom may collect customer account information such as users/partners email address, name, address, telephone number, username and password, purchases/transaction history, product activation history, service and support history, account profile preferences and optional account recovery email/security questions. Pixeom does not collect or store credit card information provided during secure online transactions.
How does Pixeom use personal information? Pixeom will use personal information to provide customers, business partners and website visitors with information and services, to help us better understand your needs and interests and to support customer better. Specifically, we use the information you provide to help you understand our products and services, complete a transaction or order, communicate with you, deliver products/services to you, bill you for products/services you’ve purchased and to provide ongoing services and support.
Does Pixeom share personal information? Except as described in this Privacy Statement, Pixeom is not in the business of sharing or selling your information to others and will not share personally identifiable information with other third parties without your permission, unless required by, or in connection with, law enforcement action, subpoena or other litigation, or applicable law.
Pixeom may contract with third party service providers and suppliers (including distributors and resellers) to deliver certain products, services and customer solutions. Pixeom may share personal information with its service providers and suppliers to the extent needed to deliver the service or respond to requests for information on products or services or otherwise support the customers' business needs. Third party service providers and suppliers receiving personal information are expected to apply the same level of privacy protection as contained in this Privacy Statement. They are required to keep confidential the personal information received from Pixeom and may only use it for the purpose originally intended.
Some Pixeom services may be co-branded and offered in conjunction with partner companies. If you register for or use such services, both Pixeom and the other company may receive information collected in conjunction with the co-branded services. We reserve the right to fully use and disclose any information that is not in personally identifiable form such as number of account registrations, product activations, market trends, etc…
Pixeom Web and Native Applications Pixeom web and native applications allow users to own, control, store, access and share private content via their personal smart cloud. The web and native applications provide UI for owners and invited users to securely login to their accounts for privileged based data access, URL-based file sharing and social media posting. The Pixeom applications respect the users’ privacy and only use basic user login information when posting content to social media on behalf of a user. As an example, when posting to Facebook, only the publish_actions permission is requested and used for the sake of publishing content authorized by user.
Security of Personal Information Pixeom is committed to taking reasonable efforts to secure the personal and business data you choose to provide us. To protect the privacy of any information you may have provided, Pixeom employs industry-standard controls including physical access controls, encryption, Internet firewalls, intrusion detection, and network monitoring. In addition, access to confidential information is limited to those individuals and agents having a need to know.
Forums and Blogs The Pixeom website allows users to publish content via forums, blogs and other idea/feedback communication mechanisms. Any information shared through these avenues becomes public information which could be read, collected or used by other users to send you unsolicited messages. We are not responsible for the personally identifiable information you choose to submit in these forums. You should exercise caution when deciding to disclose your personal information.
As is true of most websites, Pixeom collects and/or logs Internet Protocol addresses, Internet domain names and analytics such as the web browser and operating system used to access the Pixeom web site, the files visited, the time spent in each file, and the time and date of each visit.
